Registering as an accommodation seeker

On this website you can register as an accommodation seeker and respond to student accommodation offered by Alwel, Laurentius and WonenBreburg in Breda and Tilburg. You can also search for a parking space using the same registration. To register, you need to be aged at least 16 and have valid ID and proof of registration/enrolment at an educational institution in the Netherlands.

Registration at Klik voor Kamers is free of charge. You can renew your registration every year.

  • To respond to and qualify for an advertised property: you must be able to provide at least a proof of application (e.g. a Studielink screenshot) or proof of enrollment from a recognized Dutch educational institution. This proof may be valid up to 6 months before the start of your studies.
  • You must be enrolled in a recognized Dutch educational program. It is important to note that you are considered a student if you are enrolled in secondary vocational education (MBO), higher professional education (HBO), or university education (WO). If you are a part-time student, your income must not exceed the applicable income limit for appropriate allocation. For the year 2026, this limit is €29,400, with a maximum monthly rent of €713.02. The housing benefit limit for applicants under 21 years of age in 2026 is €498.20.

Please note: When allocating a property, an income statement will be requested. Income from a previous tax year will be indexed. Secondary school students (for example VMBO, HAVO, or VWO) are unfortunately not eligible to register with Klik voor Kamers.

The final proof of enrollment must be submitted no later than 3 months after the start of the study program.
